To know Victoria Shaw is to know someone who radiates compassion, positivity, integrity, and grit. It’s also to know that unforgettable blue hair that can be seen peeping through her visor, her contagious laughter, and her infamous “Free Beer Tomorrow” sign at horse shows. She is someone who devotes her heart, and soul into each endeavor, no matter how small it might seem. A lifelong horsewoman who has dedicated her time to the promotion of the Arabian horse, and our industry on so many levels from volunteering her time and her horses with local special needs students, to fostering the Black Stallion Literacy Project with local elementary schools, to her all-Arabian lesson program, and the promotion of the Arabian horse within the Sport Horse disciplines. She is always the first one there for her cultivated community, either to lend a helping hand, or to simply be a sounding board for advice. She is someone who just knows how to love well.

And, now its time for Victoria to need a ‘leg-up’ from the industry, and communities she has poured so much into. After an incident that took place at this years Scottsdale Horse Show, Victoria found herself with a number of persistent injuries that are severely limiting her from the work she loves so much. Due to her medical restrictions, and on-going physical therapy she is unable to resume any work until her physicians have released her, which could continue for months. These very unexpected consequences are something that put the equine business she dedicated her childhood planning, and her early years building in serious jeopardy.

Victoria is reaching out to her community for financial assistance with incoming medical bills, and the additional expenses that accompany covering the workload she is no longer able to do on her own. She is the sole source of income for her home, and business, and your donations will ensure that a young horse trainer is able to maintain her dream, and her investment in our horse world while she takes the time required to also take care of healing herself.
