The matriarch of one of our best Arabian horse familys, and a phenomenal horsewoman, showman and coach in her own right. Jody was not only the loving, very proud mom of children Matthew and Hillary, she was the teammate, business partner and centering point to her husband Larry, and an integral part of our Arabian horse community until their recent retirement just a couple of years ago.
We lost Jody so unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, and our heart goes out to her family that was everything to her for this tragic loss too early. Jody leaves behind her a love of life, family, friends and the Arabian horse that will forever be a part of all that the Hesten Park legacy means to the Arabian horse and the people it owns.
Alongside of Larry and Jody's passion for family, friends, and Arabian horses, they have forged a fourth family bond with the Bulldog breeding and show world that continues to keep Jody's passions alive.
We are all the less for this good, strong lady’s departure—God speed, Horsewoman, Wife, friend and Mom extraordinaire. You will be so very, very missed.
